How often should air conditioning be serviced?
Once a year for most homes, and more often for offices and commercial spaces that run their systems hard. An annual visit keeps performance up, bills down and the manufacturer warranty intact.
Can you service a system someone else installed?
Yes. We service and repair Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Daikin and most other mainstream systems, whoever fitted them. If a previous install was done badly, we will tell you straight and set out the options.
What does a service visit include?
Filters and coils cleaned, condensate drain checked, refrigerant pressures and connections checked for leaks, electrics inspected and the system performance tested, with a summary of anything that needs attention.
Why does F-Gas matter for servicing?
Any work involving the refrigerant circuit legally requires F-Gas certification, for servicing just as for installation. Every Sturgeon engineer is F-Gas certified with annual CPD, and we will show you the evidence whenever you ask.
